I never shared any of my pics from Songkran (spent in Chiang Mai and Pai) here … here’s one of some little terrors making motorists’ lives a little wetter! Luckily it has the side-effect of cleansing their souls - as well as their bike - for a more fortunate new year.

I was being tuk-tuked along riverside (and one of Phnom Penh’s busiest roads) on afternoon, and upon glancing to my left saw a huge pair of wrinkly grey legs within feet of me. An elephant was walking alongside. I’m sure it must have been accompanied by a human (riverside is by no means the kind of area that an elephant could accidentally wander into), but I didn’t get to see them.
It took me a few too many seconds to grab my camera to get a clear shot, but here it is in all its big, grey glory!
